24 students from 13 districts of Moldova, including Gagauzia, will attend the sessions of the IPIS Leadership Academy this fall. “Our first target are young people – we want to help grow a new generation of young professionals who can think critically and ask more questions than they get answers,” said Victoria Olari, project coordinator at the Academy, at the launch event.

Over the course of three months, the young people selected will learn new skills in a variety of areas such as good governance, foreign policy, conflict resolution, communication, stage presence, digital democracy, and others. Lecturers include IPIS experts as well as invited speakers: Artur Gurău, President of the Digital Communication Network, Ion Grosu, Strategic Communication Expert, Dumitru Ţîra, Media Manager, Elena Agrici, CEO at iTaxi and Founder of Guvern24, philologist Tatiana Ciocoi , actress Mihaela Strâmbeanu and others.

At the end of the project, the most active participants of the Leadership Academy will continue their collaboration with the Institute for Strategic Initiatives as volunteers – or will be involved in coordinating IPIS activities. The IPIS Leadership Academy is supported by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS).
