Representatives of the local public administration, businesses and activists from the Calarasi district participated in our on-line seminar and discussed some mechanisms of implementing local initiatives.

In particular, we talked during the meeting about:

– local community development through the prism of access to internal and external funds;

– digital activism tools and ways of self-financing;

– how to make journalists their allies in solving local problems.

In the near future, we will move from theory to practice. The participants in this programme, with the help of the IPIS team, will implement their initiatives in the Calarasi area.

The meeting took place within the programme “Vocal social campaigns at local level”, which is implemented within the Grant Programme “Development of civil society at local level in Moldova”, financed by the EU and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS).
