Journalists will continue IPIS’ work in investigating the use of budget funds intended to combat COVID-19
A group of journalists took part in a preliminary presentation of the IPIS analysis on the process of managing the foreign funds received by the Moldovan government to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of the meeting, IPIS announced a small grants competition to fund four investigations to continue the work of experts in monitoring the authorities’ use of foreign financial support allocated to Moldova to manage the COVID-19 crisis.
Twenty-seven media outlets from the Republic of Moldova were invited to the meeting.
The project “Enhancing Moldovan civil society effort in monitoring the IFI crisis COVID-19 related funding” is implemented with the financial support of the Soros Foundation Moldova.
