Support to anti-corruption and judiciary reforms in Moldova
The project is designed to provide technical assistance to the Presidential Administration to lay the ground for anti-corruption, judiciary reforms and accountable government in Moldova, within the mandate of the Presidency, as well as establish strategic communication framework to ensure buy-in and demand for these reforms from the public, civil society, opinion leaders and legal professionals.
The project will bring in recognized international and local expertise to:
- Support anticorruption reforms, improve ability of public institutions to fight systemic corruption;
- Contribute to increasing the effectiveness of the judiciary;
- Establish a strategic communications framework to raise public awareness leading to greater demand for reforms in these areas.
The project will bring together the Presidential Administration, the Parliament and the Government and will support more effective implementation and coordination of their anti-corruption and justice sector reform agenda.
It will support the involvement of citizens, civil society, journalists, watchdog organizations, bar associations and opinion makers to increase pressure from society for anti-corruption and justice sector reforms and implementation from the government.
The project is implemented with the support of the Good Governance Fund of the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
