Young journalists, entrepreneurs, and students became new participants of the Transnistrian Dialogues
The first module of the Transnistrian Dialogues, which took place on 18-19 September in the village of Costesti, Ialoveni district, was dedicated to the media industry.
Anatolie Golia, journalist and executive director of the INFOTAG news agency, made an introduction into the journalism’s world. Olga Gnatkova Newsmaker’s journalist, presented the project “Днестр/Признания”, created by a team from the two banks of the Dniester river.
Angela Sîrbu, founder of Aquarelle magazine, talked about 10 main tricks of public speaking. Alexandru Antoniou, founder of the media platform „Тинереце”, held a master class on how to create high-quality video products.
The first module of the program was closed by Nata Scurtul, a journalist from Transnistria, who explained how to cover a sensitive story.
The group of participants of the Transnistrian Dialogues this time consists of 30 people, including young journalists, entrepreneurs, activists and students. The program includes two more modules, as well as a final conference to be held in Chisinau.
The Transnistrian Dialogues is a programme of the Institute of Strategic Initiatives aimed at reducing the dividing lines between the two banks of the Dniester River by creating a platform for interaction between their populations. The programme is implemented with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Moldova.
