In partnership with the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ireland, IPIS re-launched the programe “Transnistrian Dialogues: women’s edition”. The first meeting of the participants took place in a module dedicated to communication.

Lucia Aprodu, a communication expert, spoke about the principles of efficient communication in terms of state-citizen relations. The session was accompanied by active discussions, in which the beneficiaries of the project shared their experience and debated topical issues.

A practical public speaking session was delivered by Mihaila Strâmbeanu, trainer and actress. Participants practiced in groups, improved their communication skills and established trusting relationships.

The programe brings together women from both banks of the Dniester, including entrepreneurs, local elected officials, opinion leaders, activists, etc. The main goal of the project is to increase the role of women in peace-building processes and conflict prevention.

This year “Transnistrian Dialogues: women’s edition” is implemented with the support of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ireland.
