IEP, IPIS and IPRE have presented NEXT4EU project – Young Generation for EU Integration in Moldova
The Institut für Europäische Politik (IEP) in partnership with the Institute for Strategic Initiatives (IPIS) and the Institute for European Policies and Reforms (IPRE) have presented the project NEXT4EU – Young Generation for EU Integration in Moldova.
The first Policy dialogue discussed:
The state of play on the implementation of nine priorities to open EU accession negotiations;
The role of civil society organisations in monitoring EU integration process and their participation in the EU accession negotiations.
We were honoured by the participation in this event of the Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Peter Buschmann, Head of Political Section, Delegation of the EU to the Republic of Moldova, Hasznos Erika, Head of the European Integration Directorate, MFAEI, Caras Eugen, Chief of Staff Presidency of Republic of Moldova, Adrian Balutel and the former Chief Negotiator for Romania’s EU integration, Vasile Pușcaș.
Liliana Palihovici, co-president of the EU-Moldova Civil Society Platform, Adrian Lupușor, executive director of the Expert-Grup Analytical Centre, Mihai Mogâldea, deputy director of IPRE and IPIS executive directors Vladislav Kulminschii and Vadim Pistrinciuc also participated as speakers. IEP Director Prof. Funda Tekin gave a video speech.
#NEX4EU aims to create perspectives for the democratic transformation of the Republic of Moldova, the further EU approximation and to creat opportunities for young adults. It strengthens the role of Moldovan civil society through EU training for young change makers and support for the European reform agenda with a policy dialogue series.
The implementation of the project is financed by the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
