This video is produced within the project “EU Perceptions and Reality in Moldova” wich is implemented by the Berlin Institute of European Policies (IEP) in partnership with the Institute for Strategic Initiatives of Moldova (IPIS) and the Institute for European Policies and Reforms of Moldova (IPRE) with the support of the German Federal Foreign Office.
From July 2018 to July 2019 the Institut für Europäische Politik (IEP) together with its partners, the Institute for European Policies and Reforms (IPRE) and the Institute for Strategic Initiatives (IPIS) has implemented the project “Promoting civil society and inter-ethnic dialogue in the Republic of Moldova in the context of the EU association process (CIVID)”, kindly supported by the German Federal Foreign Office.
The overall objective of the project is to make a substantial contribution to overcoming the social dividing lines of the EU rapprochement process in Moldova by promoting informed intra-societal dialogue on the values and norms underlying the Association Agreement and the concrete benefits of modernising Moldova in the course of the EU rapprochement process.

The project “With face towards the people» is an IPIS media project, supported by the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI). Within the framework of this project, our media expert, journalist Maria Levcenco, has produced a TV talk show, “Три миллиона”, in a format that is absolutely new for Moldova, with guests for each edition being not only public figures, but also ordinary people from among the three million citizens of the Republic of Moldova. The programmes were broadcast by the project’s media partners, TV8 and JurnalTV, offering Russian-speaking information consumers an alternative product.

The project team has conducted a series of dialogue workshops on the local and regional level to promote the civil society and inter-ethnic dialogue in the Republic of Moldova (RoM). As an outcome of these activities, the project partners have collected key issues and respective recommendations voiced by the participants that aim at strengthening the social cohesion in the Republic of Moldova. Participants from all regions of the country have contributed to the debate and provided input based on their professional as well as personal experience.
