Olga Melniciuc, an expert in the field of access to financial resources, completed the first edition of the “Transnistrian Dialogues: women’s edition” program. During the webinar on project management, Olga spoke in detail about the stages of project implementation.
The participants of the program “Transnistrian Dialogues: wemen’s edition” told us abour their impressions after the webinar “The importance of women’s participation in decision-making”, which was held by the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on GendeLiliana Palihovich.
National and international media experts exchanged views on disinformation strategies at the Networking Lab. In addition, IEP, IPIS and IPRE teams presented the results of an analytical study and advocacy strategies to increase resistance to disinformation.
Russian journalist Arina Borodina met with participants of the program “Transnistrian Dialogues: Wemen’s edition” and presented a webinar “Rules of effective communication with journalists”. During the online meeting, the expert talked about how to prepare for a meeting with the media and how to react in crisis situations.
Young journalists, entrepreneurs and students from both banks of the Dniester River met again in the framework of the IPIS Transnistrian Dialogues program. This time the program of the seminar, which took place from November 27 to 28 in the village of Costesti, Ialoveni district, focused on the role of civil society in the modern world.
According to data obtained by IPIS, in the first year of the pandemic, the Republic of Moldova managed to negotiate and ratify five loan agreements with international financial institutions. However, the authorities did not ensure sufficient transparency in the negotiation process, and did not have a strategic approach to communicating and informing the public about the conditions of assistance, and the destination of funds.

This analytical note contains findings on how the MSMPS and the External Assistance Coordination Centre for the Elimination of the Consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic managed humanitarian assistance, as well as recommendations for ensuring transparent decision-making and streamlining institutional communication.
